About me

My name is Patrick Moser. I was born in 2001 in Bern, Switzerland.

Already as a small child I was introduced to photography: Very early I was allowed to take my first pictures with my grandfather's Hasselblad. Photography really grabbed me when I got my first small DSLR at the age of 11. Now I had the possibility to take pictures whenever I felt like it. The camera became my constant companion. I loved to bring it with me on the many beautiful hikes that we went on as a family in the mountains.

So I became more and more interested in nature photography. Over the last few years my passion for it has steadily grown.  What fascinates me most about nature photography is that I can show feelings and moments with my pictures that remain hidden to many people.

Awards

In 2019 I was lucky enough to be awarded First Place in the "Young Photographers 15 -17 years" category of the prestigious "GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2019" competition with my image "Coal Tit".
